How to request account deletion

You can delete your Rownd account and associated personal data using any of the methods below.

Option 1 — In the app (recommended)

1. Open Rownd — Kameti Manager on your device.
2. Go to Account → Privacy.
3. Tap Request account deletion and follow the on-screen steps.
4. Confirm when prompted. Your request enters a 30-day recovery window before final deletion.

Option 2 — By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the phone number or email address linked to your Rownd account. Include your full name and registered phone number so we can verify your identity.

Data we delete

After your request is verified and the recovery window ends, we delete or anonymize personal data tied to your Rownd account, including:

• Profile information (name, phone number, city, recovery email)
• Authentication credentials and device session data
• Push notification tokens
• App preferences and notification settings
• Subscription entitlement records we store for your account

Data we may retain

Some information may be kept where required by law, security, fraud prevention, or where other circle members depend on shared records:

• Committee payment and cycle history in shared circles may be anonymized rather than deleted, so other members retain an accurate audit trail.
• Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably identify you.
• Records we must keep to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

What happens next

• We will confirm receipt within 3 business days.
• Deletion requests enter a 30-day recovery window before final processing.
• We may contact you to verify ownership of the account before deletion.
• We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

Before you delete

Account deletion is permanent after the recovery period. Export any records you need before requesting deletion, and settle any off-platform committee obligations directly with your organizer or members.

Request a copy of your data

To export your data, open Account → Privacy in the app, or email [email protected] with the subject line Rownd Data Export Request. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Subscriptions

If you purchased an optional Rownd Plus or Pro subscription through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancel it in that store if you do not want future renewals. Subscription billing is managed by the app store, not by Rownd directly.
